Tim received his BFA in Ceramics, K-12 Teaching License, and a minor in Art History from Southern Illinois Carbondale in 2007 and his MFA in Ceramics from Illinois state University in 2011. Tim has maintained an active studio practice from his home in Minonk, Illinois since 2011 and started teaching Art in 2019 at Fieldcrest High School. Since 2009 Tim has participated in a steady stream of juried, group, invitational, and solo exhibitions. He is represented by Companion Gallery, Black Book Gallery and Abel Contemporary Gallery.
He is a sponsored artist by AMACO, Diamond Core Tools, Speedball, and Dolan Tools. Tim’s work can be seen in private collections, University collections, magazines, textbooks, and publications like At the Artisan's Table by Jane Schulak & David Stark. He can be heard several podcasts and YouTube channels.
